These two flavor fanatics have made it their mission to make sure Savannahians never have to endure a dull meal.

“We love to eat!” the dynamic duo behind The Salt Table exclaims when we ask how they got into the seasoning business.  Partners in life and business, Carol Sellers and David Legasse aptly discovered their new careers over a sumptuous Valentine dinner.  After following their taste buds to discover the best in exotic salts, seasonings, teas, dips and other fine flavors from around the world, they opened their Barnard Street culinary boutique this year to rave reviews.  And yes, they also love to offer tastings.

We fell in love with salt and seasonings… on Valentine’s weekend three years ago at Salt, the Ritz-Carlton’s restaurant on Amelia Island, Fla.

Our last meal would be…  anything with Truffle salt.

The chef we most admire is… Guy Fieri.  On his Food Network show, “Diners, Drive-ins and Dives,” Guy enthusiastically features simple foods made spectacular with unexpected and engaging seasonings.  Besides that, we think Guy would be the perfect neighbor….
