When entering the Salt Table, guest’s senses will be filled with the aroma of seasonings, popcorn and vanilla. Wines served in local restaurants are featured for retail purchase and on occasion wine tastings of private label selec- tions will be held.
Additionally, the store features Carol and Dave’s favorite blends and recipes. Among them are Truffle Salt, Ghost Pepper Salt, All ‘round Good Grinder Blend, Strawberry Peach “Special Tea,” Rainbow Blend Popcorn from Amish country, Spinach Sensation Dip, infused salts and flavored sugars. The Salt Table is a Savannah original and not a franchise or chain. Every product with The Salt Table logo is hand- packaged with care at the store!

A TASTE MENU of the Italian Black Truffle Salt and Ghost Pepper Salt are among the best selling of the more than 50 salt flavors. These two products alone represent an unforgettable aroma and taste sensation. They also feature local Savannah honey supplied by Reed Nichols, known for his work to save misplaced bee colonies. The pottery is crafted by local potter Clare Buckner.
Salt Tablets: Our customers are fascinated by our salt tablets. These 200-million-year-old slabs of solid salt cut from the Himalayan Mountains can be heated to hundreds of degrees in the oven. They retain the heat, and are then used to cook meats, fish and seafood for an unforgettable salt flavor.
