Owners Carol and Dave Legasse founded the company in 2011 with the idea that customers should have fun exploring the shops while receiving expert advice. The Salt Table’s unique seasoning blends have won major flavor competitions and the couple are often featured on TV and have been featured in magazine, newspaper articles and blogs, including Travel Girl, Southern Flavor, Paula Deen’s Magazine, Worth magazine and many others. The couple are also frequently seen on the speaker’s circuit.
Also featured in their shops are other highly acclaimed Georgia Grown® specialty foods, such products as pecans, ginger products, honey, coffee, jellies and jams, cookies, snacks, and sauces — all made members of Georgia Grown. Local crafts, photography and handcrafted pottery will complete the customer’s Georgia experience.
For wine enthusiasts, Many Salt Table shops offer award-winning Georgia wines, including dry reds and whites from the North Georgia Mountains to the sweet fruit wines of the Low Country. Locally distilled spirits are also offered at the new Savannah Spirits shop on the concourse of the Savannah Airport.
