Salt Table ships most orders within one business day after an online purchase. Orders are shipped via USPS, UPS and FedEX..
NOTE: Currently, most couriers are NOT guaranteeing delivery times. When an order is shipped, an email is sent to the customer with a tracking number. The Salt Table has no control over a shipment once it is in the hands of a courier and is not responsible for delays once an order has been shipped from the Salt Table facilities. While all orders are insured, The Salt Table is not responsible for delays in shipping due to problems and overloads and other issues that the couriers encounter. An official service request must be made by the customer with the courier. if a delivery is later than indicated on the tracking notice. (Check your email for the tracking information. It may be in your spam, junk mail, or trash.The Salt Table should be notified immediately when you belive there is an issue with your order. We will assist in all ways possible. If and when a courier determines a package is actually “lost” or damaged, it will notify the Salt Table and at that time the customer will be reimbursed for the entire order.
Requests to delay deliveries: During the online ordering process, customers can request intentional delays in delivery. For example, you may be out of town an want it held until after you return.
Use of our couriers: Customers can request shipping via a courier of their choice. (In such cases, please contact The Salt Table to discuss options.) PLEASE NOTE: The FREE SHIPPING option with a minimum purchase applies only to deliveries via USPS, UPS or FedEX at the discretion of The Salt Table. If a customers wishes to use a different courier, the difference (if any) on the actual shipping cost will be the responsibility of the customer. Please call to arrange for the extra charge, if any.
Online Orders from Web Site: Free Priority Shipping for Online Product Purchases over $49 being shipped to a single address in the 48 contiguous states . A flat fee of $7.95* per address for all other orders anywhere in the 48 contiguous states, PR and APO addresses. Due to extremely high shipping costs charged by couriers, the Salt Table has suspended orders being shipped to HI and AK. The Salt Table does not ship outside the US at this time. See exceptions below.
Orders shipped from Shops: For in-store purchases that involve shipping, there is a flat fee of $9.95 to any single address anywhere in the US. Exception: Due to weight issues, there is an extra shipping fee for each salt plate 8X8X2″ or larger when shipped direct from shops. See other exceptions below.
Exceptions on shipping fees: Due to weight or addresses deemed difficult by the shipping company, some shipments may require additional fees for delivery. If this is the case, the buyer will be contacted and offered the opportunity to pay additional shipping or have their order cancelled and the purchase fully refunded. The Salt Table reserves the right to cancel orders and issue a refund under these circumstances.
Method of Payment for in store and online:
In-store and on-line purchases can be purchased with VISA, MasterCard, Discovery and American Express. We will also accept bank checks and money orders and will ship items once the funds have been received and deposited. PayPal can be used for purchases made online.
Cancellation of Orders:
Orders that have been shipped cannot be cancelled. Orders that have been processed, but not yet shipped may be subject to a processing fees if canceled before being shipped. If you have placed an order and then wish to cancel it, you must call the business office immediately at 912-988-1154 during normal business hours.
Out of inventory items:
All products sold online are intended to be in stock, unless a message on the product page states “out of stock.” Occasionally an item that is out of stock is not noted as such. Should a product not be available within an order, the remainder of the order will be shipped and the item out of stock will be refunded. In such cases, the customer will be notified.
Sales Taxes are charged at 3% on food items and 7% on non-food items. Non-Food items include books, pottery, accessories, special packages, etc for orders purchased in the store or shipped within GA. No Sales taxes are charged on items shipped outside Georgia. Due to GA Alcohol Laws and regulations, wine cannot be shipped by the Salt Table under any circumstances.
Shipping Method (except photographs from gallery link):
Please note that all orders will take at least one full business days before they are actually shipped, at which point most orders are shipped Priority via USPS. Many actually arrive in two or three business days from when shipped. However, the Salt Table is not responsible for the duration of delivery once it leaves its facility and is in the hands of a courier. The Salt Table will assist the customer within its control, but courier is fully responsible. While all orders are insured, The Salt Table is not responsible for delays in shipping due to problems and overloads at the USPS or any other courier.
If and when a courier determines a package is actually “lost” it will notify the Salt Table and at that time the customer will be reimbursed for the entire order.
Most orders in the United States are shipped via USPS Priority to all 50 states. Any single order cannot be shipped to multiple locations. Orders can be shipped to a second person and address (for example, as a gift.) Products are shipped to the 50 states, to US territories and APO addresses outside the US at this time.
Due to international regulations concerning the commercial shipment of food, The Salt Table does not ship outside the U.S. Customers may arrange for a third person to ship a gift outside the U.S. (family or friend).

Please allow 2 weeks delivery of the photographs. Paper prints will arrive via USPS and canvas via UPS.
Shipping via USPS, UPS and FedEX
The Salt Table currently charges a flat rate for shipping and handling fee of $7.95 for all online orders. This fee is subject to change up or down without notice. During a special promotion, shipping may be free with a product purchases over $49 after discount and taxes. Overnight and two day shipping is not currently available. The Salt Table is not responsible for delays in delivery due to the weather, misdirected shipments, or any other reason once the order is in the possession of the courier.
Returns, Defective items, Lost/Missing and/or Products Damaged in transit:
If it has been determined that any item was damaged during shipping, at the descrestion of the Salt Table a refund for the damaged goods will be issued or a replacement will be provided. (Please note: not all product are immediately available for replacement.)

Tracking of shipment:
The Salt Table emails tracking numbers to its online customers on all orders. Before notifying the Salt Table, please check your email, trash, JUnk or Spam folders. If you do not receive a tracking number, please email us at email@example.com
Tracking late or lost shipments:
At time of shipment, the Salt Table will email to you a tracking number. If a shipment does not arrive on the schedule noted in the tracking information, please call the courier (in most cases it will be your local Post Office) and provide the tracking information we provided to you via email. You will have far more success with your local post office than a phone call from The Salt Table in Savannah. Often these orders were mis-delivered to a nieghbor or the box may actually be sitting at your local Post Office. You must make the call asap or your claim may be denied by the Post Office or courier.
If you have no success with the Post office on the recovery of a lost order, please submit a claim and we will attempt to resolve the problem from our end as well. As noted above, time is of the essence and your assistance is essential to reimburse your claim to you.
PLEASE NOTE: Without your immediate assistance and information (within a couple business days of delivery) YOUR CLAIM MAY BE DENIED BY THE POST OFFICE or courier.

We take great pride in our reputation for quality and excellence. But, even more important we put our customers first. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase and wish to return it for exchange, refund or credit. The Salt Table may require the item to be returned to receive a refund, replacement or credit. You may request a refund, credit or replacement, under the following conditions.
- If the return requires shipping back to The Salt Table, the return must have a RMA number (Return Merchandize Authorization) See details below…
- You may return the product directly to the store of purchase, or ship to the Salt Table Corporate office at 1370, E US HWY 80, Pooler, GA 31322.
- The item being returned to The Salt Table must include the original packaging, if any.
- The item must be received by The Salt Table within 20 days of the original purchase along with proof of purchase. (cash register receipt or order number, if purchased on line.)
- Please note: If at time of purchase, the product was not shipped to the customer as part of the transaction, the customer must assume all costs of S&H related to a return, refund, or replacement.
For in store returns, simply bring the receipt and the product to the store of purchase. The above criteria applies.

The product being returned to The Salt Table must be received within 20 days of the purchase date. Goods may be returned only with a Returned Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number which will be given to you as part of the return process.
The Salt Table does not cover the cost of your shipping to The Salt Table. If a replacement of a defective product is involved, the shipping of a replacement product from the Salt Table is covered by The Salt Table.
Send your RMA requests with details of the issue to firstname.lastname@example.org With your email include a photo of your receipt or order number if purchased online, as well as your ship-to info and contact info (a phone number where we may reach you). Also, if a photo helps demonstrate your concern, please send a photo with your email. Emails will be responded to quickly. We will provide you with a RMA number.

When returning merchandise, to avoid damage in transit, items should be packed securely in the original box with all parts included, if any. Should returned goods be received by The Salt Table in damaged condition, only the shipper (you) can enter a claim with the transportation company.

Limits on purchases and/or surcharges on shipping fees.
The Salt Table reserves the right to limit the quantity of items purchased, restrict orders of unusual weight, and refuse to process or ship any order for any other reason. All S&H options are offered with typical residential purchases in mind. However, due to sharply escalating shipping fees, especially for large/heavy orders or those shipped significant distance from Georgia, it is at the sole discretion of The Salt Table to determine if any order qualifies for published S&H options, or not. Should an order not qualify, the customer will be contacted and given the option to amend the order or pay a surcharge for any additional S&H fees or at the discretion of the customer, cancel the order for a full refund.
