Full job description

    • PLEASE READ: The above pay range includes easily attainable daily bonuses. Join the award-winning Salt Table Team at the SAV airport! This position offers excellent pay, paid training in our unique products, safe and free employee parking, a daytime-only position, a positive working environment (no drama zone), great team members, and happy customers.
    • Immediate openings. Two or three days a week with at least one weekend day availability. Daytime shifts only.

    • This position is open to applicants seeking to work full-day shifts on weekdays and at least occasional weekend days.
    • This Salt Table opportunity is open to experienced Retail Sales/KeyHolders applicants with a recent and successful track record in boutique sales and/or customer service. See below for more info about the “Boutique” experience we are seeking.
    • This position offers an excellent opportunity for a retired person, working mom, or anyone seeking a fulfilling daytime, part-time opportunity. No evening shifts are required. The airport concourse has a great working environment, customers who love Salt Table and other locally-made products, and an excellent team of first-class people.
    • We offer paid training to learn about our amazing products within the starting pay ranges. However, as noted below, it would be best if new employees had prior experience in boutique environments or upselling sales experience. (see below)


    • Prior experience in boutique sales environments is considered in the hiring decision (for example, specialty foods, jewelry, fashions and accessories, ladies’ makeup, handbags, vitamin shops, soap stores, skin care, pet shops, bakery, or other positions where product knowledge, customer service, and upselling skills are essential).
    • If your life experience and personal interests match, we encourage you to give it a shot. We have a paid training program for product knowledge.
    • Excellent customer service skills with experience in retail sales and cash register operations
    • Proficiency in basic math and retail math for accurate transactions
    • Ability to effectively communicate with customers and provide product knowledge
    • Strong organizational skills and time management abilities
    • Previous experience in stocking, POS, and merchandising is a plus
    • Experience in upselling and sales techniques
